Welcome to Tank a Day!

Principals, register here to become a Tank a Day member and take part in the BlueScope Tank a Day Challenge, BlueScope Community Tankover and BlueScope Rainchaser Award.

Schools that have already received a rainwater tank in the Tank A Day Challenge are not eligible to participate in the Tank a Day Challenge to receive another rainwater tank. However, we invite you to take part in the Community Tankover Program and Rainchaser Award.

Once you have registered to become a Tank a Day member, you will receive an email with your login ID and password which you will need to participate in the three programs.

I confirm that our school:

Has clean gutters and down pipes in good working order
Is able to make available a 6x6metre site for a 27,000 litre rainwater tank that:

is levelled and clear of rocks and debris, with clean sand to a depth of 150mm that will form the base for the rainwater tank
is adjacent to or within 10 metres of a school building where there is working guttering that fall towards the down pipe to ensure water flow during rainfall
has access to a nearby power outlet for connection of the rainwater tank pump
